LOOKING AFTER YOUR BURNS BY BURNS CANDLE

The first time you light a candle, please ensure you burn it for at least 2-3 hours to ensure the melt pool touches each side of the jar.   This will set a memory for your candle and ensure you don't have an imperfect burn or tunnelling.
Once the wax re-hardens, trim the wick to 0.5cm to ensure the candle burns gently.  A wick that is too long will mean the candle burns faster and will create soot and black marks on your candle.  A wick that is too short will burn too slowly and affect the scent throw.
Maintaining regular trimming will ensure the wick does not 'mushroom' during burning.
If the top of the candle or jar gets black discolouration from the wick, simply wipe with a cool damp cloth (once the wax has hardened) and let it dry before re-lighting.
Ensure you place your candle on a heat resistant surface that's even and stable.  Never leave a burning candle unattended.  Please don't leave your candle in direct sunlight or next to a heat source as this may affect the scent and could discolour the candle.
Never burn the candle in a draft, next to things that can catch fire and always keep it away from children and pets.
If burning multiple candles, please keep them at least 1.5 metres apart.
Soy wax is a natural product, therefore it is normal for the wax to look lumpy/frosty or discoloured once it has re-formed.  This won't affect the scent of your candle once it has been re-lit.
Once you have burned the candle for the last time, simply wipe out the remaining hot wax with paper towel.  Please dispose of any remaining wax in the bin - do not pour it down the drain.  Then wash the jar in warm soapy water to remove the remnants of the wick and dry it.
Give the jar a new life by re-purposing it as you wish!
